Dana 60 ?

Anyone know where I can find an exploded view of a GM Dana 60 automatic hub? Mine were taken apart before I got the frontend, and I am trying to figure out if everything is there. If not, would like to order all the parts at one time.

Thanks,

Virgil

Re: Dana 60 ?

I would guess that they did come with auto locking hubs from '81 to the end of the solid axle trucks. I would scrap the auto lockers and buy a set of Warn manual locking hubs for it. There is probably a reason why the auto lockers are disassembled.

Re: Dana 60 ?

The front had automatic hubs, the friend I got it from started tearing it down for a rebuild, then lost interest.
I would like to keep the automatic hubs, if possible, as I have had some good luck with the ones on my corp front end. Seems we are able to run them here in the Deep South without too much trouble. (We don't have the freezes, ect some of you do further North.)
Thanks
Virgil

http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billav...ont/index.html

here is the front d60 page and i still dont see any thing about an auto hub, i dont think you have a d60, 8 lug does not =d60

like me, 90% of people that have added d60 get them fromt the cucv 84-88 chevy trucks, they all have manual internal hubs.

It's a D60 alright, BOM 610057-7, 2 bolts and a u bolt on the right side spring hanger, 4 inch hub, 60 cast in the housing flange.
