Does anyone know whats included in the RPO " Z81 Custom Custom Camper Equipment" on a 1972 GMC with the Z62 Pacakae as well. I'm wondering if the cab lights are included in the Z81 package as this truck has them and they look factory.. I do realize the truck has been painted and its missing a couple of important things on then doors.

The cab roof would have raised areas for the marker lights to set on if they were factory. Someone added those.

I agree... I think those would have their own separate option if original. (and they would be the fire hat style)

Z81 or Z62 don't include cab lights, they are a stand-alone RPO (U01). And, as mentioned above, factory U01 included the raised pad roof from 69-72 only. The ones pictured are the Yankee 77 type and could be po add-on or original dealer add-on.

As for what WAS included in those two options, here you go (Z62 is just the equivalent of what Chev called the Custom Deluxe trim level):

I am partial to the v43 72’ only rear bumper.

Thanks for the info. I guess seeing they were added explains the rusting roof as that truck has been sitting out side for years and when the cab light were installed they probably weren't sealed properly and water got in over the years and slid down and started rusting the roof. I didn't glance up when I looked inside but its probabllky bubbling on the inside too.
