85 K30 dually single cab, 2 1/2 inch lift, who has done it?

Just wondering what lift you used and what type of steering correction you did?

Thanks

2.5" shouldn't require any steering correction, but to be close to perfect a 2-2.5" drop pitman arm would work great. Don't forget to add in an ORD steering box brace before you crack out the frame. These are almost a must have even for a stock 4x4.

Cheaper and easier, get a block to go under the stock arm. And while there put new bushing and spring kit in...

I had that block on my truck. I HATED it and took it off. It kept loosening up. I tried the drop drag link and couldn't get the steering wheel centered. I have both now sitting in storage. I went with a dropped pitman arm, and it works very well.

The steering block is cheap but it sucks. K30s need the drop pitman arm.
Yes it says for a 4" but k30s have the larger axle tube and perch which make up a little bit.

x2 on drop drag link or spacer block CRAP .

go drop pitman arm .

I have one on a k30 with 3" and it still has a slight down angle and if I had 2.5" it would still be just fine.

bds is top shelf for leaf spring trucks of our style . tuff country #2 . . . skip rough country unless you want the ride of a empty dump truck .

check the bds kit for 56" rear springs NOT 52" rear . k30 needs the 56"

also splurge on bilstein shocks . tons of guys going with them on our leaf spring trucks these days and loving them .

I'm with the others, go ahead for a drop pitman arm. I have 4" Tuff Country springs up front, the rear is stock. I also have the ORD greaseable shackles and Zone OffRoad's sway bar links.
