Re: steering wheel diameter

Power steering, size doesn't really matter. Standard steering, bigger the better.

Re: steering wheel diameter

For comparison, my steering wheel is 13 1/2" in Diameter BUT it's mounted to a 72 Van tilt column with stock 72 van gear shift selector, turn signal lever & tilt lever. I have power steering & brakes. The 13.5" steering wheel is perfect for me with power steering and is the right size for the van gear selector. Not to mention I have a little more gut room, I'm not a big guy, 5'10" & 182 LBS. As an added thought the Olds 442 Sport Steering Wheel is 14.5" in diameter, the last pic is of my truck as bought with the OEM column but I have no idea what diameter that steering wheel is - it's long gone along with the steering column. I hope this info helps with your decision.
