Re: $2k for 6L LQ9 and 4L80 w/ harness, no ECU?

Absolutely. You still need an app to interpret the data. I use the "Torque Pro" app from the Android store. $4.95

Re: $2k for 6L LQ9 and 4L80 w/ harness, no ECU?

I have an 03 2500LD parts truck with a 6.0 and a 4.10 gear. For the heavy beast it is it's pretty quick. It really surprised me. I drive an 04 Silverado with a 5.3 that has 3.73's and I find it pretty lively compared to my old 72 with a better than mild 350 and 3.73's or my 92 with a TBi 350/3.73's. I imagine your LQ4 in an old C10 with a good gear would be far less than underwhelming. As I understand it an LQ4 with a mild cam, decent exhaust and tune is worth about 400 HP.

This spring I am bolting on my Ebay T70 turbos and hoping to improve the wow factor. Love having fuel injection and reliable motor though. stick a Bluetooth module in the OBDII port, download the Torq app for your phone and most of your gauges can be displayed in the palm of your hand. From engine vacuum, to coolant temp.

The 2.73's are definitely holding the old girl back, but I anticipated the turbos and did not want a lower gear. On the other hand she should be a blast on the highway...lol
