Hey Rokcrln, I've been checking out this thread and Frizzle Fry's as well and can't seem to get the idea out of my head now. That being said I have a question for you.

I'm in the process of building my 69 SWB and it is getting a custom frame. The factory SWB trailing arm frame will need a new home once I'm done and I understand that it is right around the same length as where you ended up on this project. Do you think I could reuse the SWB frame for this purpose? What would the challenges be?

You can use the SWB frame. You'll need the rear frame horns from a burb frame or fabbed equivalent.
