The Extra Heavy Chevy - 72 C20

I'll have to post some pictures I have once I get to my computer, so I'll just tell you a smidge about the truck and how I'd like to steer the build...

72 Chevy C20, long bed, L250, 4 speed on the floor with a granny gear, Eaton HO52.

I first bought the truck because my daily driver, 68 C10 sheered a cam lobe or two, so I could either dump money into the engine... probably to do some upgrading in that department, and on top of all the other work that needed to get done... OR my favorite, buy another truck and have two to play around with

The direction I want to gear this rig to is to be a towing rig...
some brain stormed ideas:

- Wooden bed
- Dana 60
- Rear disc brakes
- 1" drop in the front
- 2" drop in the rear
- AirBag Load Stabilizers
- Enclosed Frame
- Enclosed Trailing Arms
- Front and rear sway bars
- 5 or 6 speed manual tranny with a creeper gear
- either turbo charges L292 OR 383 Stroker
- Electric cooling fans
- dual batteries
- custom hidden wiring
- integrated trailer brake module and trailer brake connector
- rear roll pan
- hide away hitch
- 2003 2500HD aluminum wheels and center caps, painted flat black
- 3.73 gear with LSD
- custom bed side mounted tool boxes
- 2000 silverado bucket seats and center console
- red, black, and white paint job
- custom vinyl top

these are just a couple of ideas I've had so far

also thinking of having
- a built in air compressor in the back
- finally running a spare tire
- extending tank to a 30 gallon capacity
