Need a drop spindle recomedation
Ok guys I have western 2.5 71-72 drop spindles currently. I have pb fab forward and narrowed arms with bags. Problem is That I run 15" wheels and would like to install heims on the bottom side of tie rod mount to clear up bumpsteer. I dont think it will clear the tire and rim. Are there any drop spindles on the market that move the tierod mount inboard some? I have heard beltech does. I would not have a problem with a 2" drop insted of 2.5 for wheel clearance.

Re: Need a drop spindle recomedation
Looking @ the pic.... The TRE looks to be pretty close level wise as the lower a-arms (pivot point to BJ). Moving the TRE to the bottom of the spindle steering arm would have them much different vs where they are now & would not help a bump-steer issue. It would make it worse.
You want them as close as possible level/angle wise.

Re: Need a drop spindle recomedation
I think the angle of the pic may be misleading

Re: Need a drop spindle recomedation
Would there be enough room if the TRE was flipped or would that be an interference issue as well?

I ordered more custom sleeves, heims and misalignment bushings today. Gonna try it out. Total width is 1.83. We shall see
