On my 69' C10 I had trouble finding a lower radiator hose that would work with an after market aluminum radiator. I used this site to research it and found that a GATES 20843 may solve my problem. With a little work altering the lower nipple and shortening the hose at that end, I got it to work.
If you research on this site before asking, you will same a lot of time.

is the hose rubbing on the frame or is it just the picture?

did you try twisting the hose so it lays on top of the frame rather than against it ?

The hose is 1/2 " from the frame.

Just wondering, could the hose have been turned end for end to fit?

I tried both ways and twisting it. There is only one way it will fit. Sorry about the last photo (out of focus and bad angle to show clearance).

yes but;when your engine is up and running at normal temperature that hose is going to expand (and contract when cooled back down.) will it still be a 1/2" from the frame??????? keep an eye on that. Just saying, because i had something similar to that happen on my Duramax. Got a hole rubbed right through the hose.

The engine hasn't been (getting close) started and if that happens I will notch the frame or insulate the hose.

It's a nice solution if you have the skills. Another option for those of us with zero aluminum welding skills is to spend a bit more time in the books.

I spot a couple that might have been a better starting point.

FWIW, before I voided the warranty on a new radiator, I'd cut the hose and splice it rotating the ends, hoses being cheaper than radiators.

I got this one from Rockauto and it fit perfect with no modification to anything. I have the same setup as you.

I tried the ac delco 24035L and couldn't use it because I have a low mount alternator that was in the way. It's not shown in the last photo, I had to remove it to get the hose in place.

The HD radiator in my 70 GMC has the lower outlet the same as the OP's photo. I got one at NAPA. It fit just fine.
