81 pickup grill swap
I though I had posted this on here earlier. But now I cant find it. So my bad if it shows up, I'm guessing it didn't take or something.
Anyways I got an 81 k20 pickup yesterday. She's rough but good. However it has what I'm guessing is an 86 gmc front clip. I dunno if I'm a fan. What grills and clips can I use. I have an 80 parts truck. As well as an 82 parts truck but to be honest I'm not 100% on the year. Haha I'll attach a pic. It's the 8 tone paint truck. I call it Lurch

That grill on the GMC is like a 90 model grill. It was a popular swapout in the 90s (maybe still is). To go back to original style stacked square headlights I believe requires radiator support swap in additon to the headlights and grill pieces.
If you want to go with the round headlights (80 and older) you can do if you have the complete front clip.

Yea, I got googleing and it does look like a 90. Not sure what I'm gonna do, but the headlights don't work, well one does, cuz the wiring was butchered up pretty good. My buddy has an old tow truck that's rotted right out. Vin says it's an 89 but the grill might work.

I think there's a small difference in the windshield post where the fender and hood meet the post on the pre 81 and post 81...
