Re: how about some laid out longbeds

yes, i work on heavy equipment and that is the hydraulic hose we use, it is made by parker, i use 37 degree jic fittings on all of it.
The panard bar is actually a ece super trac bar that i had and cut it down, i cut it to length, made a center sleeve. plug welded and then seam welded. it is about as long as an airide tech bar.

Heres mine, again not quite laid out, its sitting on bumpstops though. Its about to get 20" steelies and a chopped front crossmember, so then she'll be down good and hard.

The whitewalls are painted on, the back one looks humped as I had the exhaust dumping in front of it.
I got bored this weekend,so i painted my truck...... i still need to do the body work.. I need to get some white walls, I like the way your trucks looks..

Re: how about some laid out longbeds

Well Dang I like that one, for obvious reasons, like brothers from other mothers.

I had looked at getting real deal whitewalls but they are just too pricey only to kerb one and ruin it. The whitewall paint seems to be ok, its a rubber based emulsion that etches into the tyre once you remove the outer skin (not a whole layer of rubber) from the tyre, we have a guy locally that does it for 20 bucks a tyre.

That's just the rear air lines, had them tucked up in the back temporarily...pics were after it rolled out of the garage for the first time on air.

Re: how about some laid out longbeds

This is exactly "laid out" (or even close to done) but she's gonna ride a whole lot lower than she did when I got her.

That's roughly ride height in back. It will drop about 3 more inches dumped.

The front is sitting about 5 inches higher than it will when I get it put back together. Couldn't drop it any more in front cause that's all the shorter my jack stands get. lol

Outside the frame rail. I have the tank under the bed, no room there. Flowmasters and air tanks are under bed in front of rear tire.
