yes, its hit and miss around here (ETX), some places dont, some do depending on where you go but it is getting worse and worse. 24+ year old vehicles do not have to undergo the sniffer, but a "visual exhaust/emission equipment" inspection for anything newer than 1968.

actually maybe it was 1975. somewhere in that time frame, i dont know when they started installing them.
