"Bustin Knuckles" '59 Apache Build

I bought the truck last year and haven't had anytime to work on it but it's definitely time to start tearing into it and get it rolling. The pics below are when I bought it and I've started the tear down. Currently, I have it torn down to the frame and have the front suspension off. I'm still narrowing down which frame ('67 - '72) and I plan to convert from the 6 lug drums to 5 lug disk. Next, I'll look into the 12 bolt rear end make sure it is still strong. I have the 350 from the previous owner but I plan to tear it back down and rebuild it to make sure it's done right. Here's a few pics...

Blue 59's are really cool. Looks like it already has a newer truck front clip, if you are lucky you can just change the spindles. Someone who knows more about rearends can chime in, will the rear be just a matter of swapping out the axles to go from 6 to 5 lug?

Well sad news around my shop. I finally had to call it quits on the build, just couldn't find the time to give it the TLC it deserves.

I've got some suspension parts for sale as well as bumpers and emblems.
