What's that non-hardening putty stuff used for seat belt bolts to pan?
No luck on thread searches. Am chasing the non-hardening compound/putty that GM used on the threads for seat belt bolts to floor pan. What's that stuff called? Thanks, Pete.

I saw that but didn't make the connection to the floor - OEM stuff was an off-white color. Thank you!

I don't know about an off white color that did the same thing. Hopefully we are on the same page. Strip-caulk is most certainly the most common used for what it sounds like you are talking about. A soft, not hardening seal. Under washers on bolts, master cyl covers on the floor, that sort of thing. Anywhere that you need a seal but will be removing it at some time do you wouldn't want something that hardens.
