What is the color that you see the least on these truck, or not at all.

The 1969 only maroon seems rare, and I have only seen this yellow on a couple of other trucks.

I don't know....the primer combo on my truck was the only one I'd ever seen like it. I called it grey. Neighbor said it looked green. I think he's nuts. So did his wife when she ran him off....

HAHAHA, mine is a one of one combo of EDP, red/white, grey primer, and black spray paint, and brown primer. SPID checks out on this combo.

There are some trucks out there with a "Special Paint" code. I have one of them. I have only seen one other truck this color. The outside has only been painted once and I did it so I know its original. The interior has never been touched( all factory paint) and I have the original glovebox with it listed

Are you talkikng about the steering coloum color?? and dash? Or are you talking about the green outside color.

The stering colum and dash bezel are the standard green the comes with most green trucksThe actual metal part of the dash and the outside color are the "Special Paint".

I like both colors on your truck. What color is that interior called? It is the original color of my truck but my glove box information isn't there for me to get the code.

Still waiting for my favorite color. It falls in the special order group.
Dark Olive with a red top and a Vodka stripe.
Seriously though this has been a great thread. I'm surprised how many of the trucks I remember as a kid are listed here as stock colors. I graduated in 80 and don't remember seeing them on the lot new, but there were lots of them around town. Golds, browns, blues, reds, and at least one purple one. Funny I don't seem to remember any green ones. We owned an all white 71 3/4 ton 4x4 with the 292, 4 speed and service boxes.

I have a 68 that was originally maroon , as for the yellow if you came out to Delaware all the old state DOT Chevy pickups were that color. I have seen quite a few in the jyards when i was a teenager they had 22 of them lined up in a row all step sides accept for 3 blazers and a suburban.

Ice Coral Pink. It's a Canadian GMC color from either 71 or 72 only...

Maroon was pretty common around here but I have never seen a pink (coral) truck except on this board.

Ice Coral Pink hands down. I think every dealer in Canada got 1 of them.

The 69 GMC marron was definatly not common. Had one. Very nice color.

You need to differentiate between production color,Fleet (like that yellow),special paint,Chevy vs GMC,and US vs CN.The special paint colors will all be rare in comparison.The Canadian models offered a couple special paint options in their line.So it`s kind of not apples to apples.There rarest production colors would be the one year only ones.
I had a light grey`69 Stepside that was special paint.It also came from the factory with red wheels...all 5.
