Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
Eric, have any K20 Cheyenne Supers sold here yet? I'm really curious what that copper 4 door power wagon brings at the other auction joint.

Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
Feeling pretty good about my 57 3100 right now, but really wishing I hadn't passed on the grapefruit 72 Cheyenne Super with 33,000 miles I had a shot at for $18,000 in November 2016.

Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
You may be right about buyers are looking for something other than the same old cars for a change. This may be the year of the GM trucks. Our trucks are well represented. The little broncos did well too.
The other night a nice little black 55 Tbird went to a woman for a good price. It wasn’t a Amos Mentor car but looked great and she was tickled to get it at about $38,000 or so.

But it’s a Sierra Grande In my opinion, probably the best deal on a 67-72 that I saw It was an unrestored example Even tow hooks from the factory!!! EDIT—oh yea tach and shoulder belts,Too I think the power wagon you are talking about, was at Russo Steele I’m pretty sure they don’t post their results till after the auction. One thing I’ll say, B-J, has their auction mastered, some people bash it And true, most the stuff is way overpriced, but people there are having fun And opening their wallets For me , it’s great entertainment It’s hard not to buy in, and get a bidders pass! There are so many cars/trucks in one place You can hardly walk a row without seeing someone you want |

Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
This is a different style/story
But it caught my eye The pin-stripe stars cover dings that were in the paint Only at B-J would it bring 24k ? http://www.barrett-jackson.com/Event...TOM-SUV-216145 |

Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
Well I love blazers like everybody else but all chrome I don't know. There's something for everybody they say. The listing reads like it is actual chrome plated. Good plating isn't cheap.

That's a deal on the K2500, great truck - anyone else think the SPID looks reproduced though?

Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
Absolutely. Question is, was it just remade of the original?

Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
Man, you guys have some good eyes
This truck looked so legit I wouldn’t have suspected that It was original paint that was all pitted on the hood The bed was resprayed as well as the driver door Everything matched Had headliner and cargo light(not sure on tailgate handle chrome) We will never know! But still a good B-J deal |

Re: Barrett/Jackson Scottsdale
This one looks great but I think it should have stayed dark olive. I love them like that. The orange one would look great with it's black top. But it sure would get hot in there.
