volt gauge install

hey guys, i got a small problem with a voltage gauge i have. its just a autozone special you know the 3 pack oil, temp, and volts. my problem is i cant seem to get the voltage gauge to read it only has to wires coming off the back and it looks like its just for the light in it. is mine missing something or am i just having a retard moment

i think the black one is a ground. and the other one goes straight to the alternator. not sure though

never mind i got it figured out lol just too tired to actually see what was on the back of the gauge to hook it up but i got it now
