Are these heads any good??
That 327 I just bought had later model heads on it, casting #s is 3932454, mortech.com shows them to either be 69-73 307 heads or 69-79 350 truck heads, I'm new the whole head ballgame, so any info would be helpful, thanks

I dont think this is very good news.
I beleive they are 307 heads with small valves. 1.72 intake 1.5 exhaust. i'm not sure aboust the chamber volume. You can order reproduction chevy double hump heads from PAW for just over $600. ------------------ 1970 short bed fleetside

Perfect reason to go with Vortecs.

too bad, that sucks, dang it anyway, cheap @ss motor!!!lol....I've got a couple more sets of heads out there, i'll check them out and run them by you. I don't think the $600 repros are in the budget, at least not in the next 5 or 10 years, my wife thinks she needs a new house!!
