Wipers, one speed?

My Sub sat for ten years..... Getting it back on the road. Wipers had one speed, slooooooow. Had two distinct speeds before parked. I just replaced the wiper motor. Wipers are now faster, but still appears to be just one speed (if two, it's bearly noticeable). Everything is lubed well. Could it be the switch? It is the only thing left. I just hate throwing money at a problem, any way to trouble shoot this?

Was the replacement a new one or used one?

Here is a thread on testing the wiper motors. Scroll down to the two speed wipers....
