Picture just for you sir! Its Dale Earnhardt Sr dealership in Newton NC. It's about 4 miles from my dad's house. The building was Nuzum- Cross Chevrolet but they lost it when GM went under. When they got bailed out Dale Earnhardt Sr bought it.

Re: Gas prices today!!!

You guys are depressing me. I paid 2.55 a gallon for diesel a couple days ago. Gas was around $1.70 a gallon yesterday. Maybe it will drop next time they get a shipment. My local BP is still 2.79 for diesel! I guess the bright side is no Corona virus in our county but every county around us does.

I'm back in Liberty and filled the Impala up for $1.50.9 for 93 octane. Regular was $1.29-9. I figured the old 350 would like some good stuff for change!

$1.08 today and diesel $2.23.
Something I didn't know we had now is E85. It is .89.
Wonder how many are actually using that.

I tried it in the 08 Tahoe I drive. It is worthless has no power to it at all. I could fill up here in Liberty SC on regular and drive 5 hrs with AC on to our beach house and have gas left in the tank.
Fill up on E85 and 4hrs into the trip I have to stop and fill up again. Price wise it's cheap but in the long run you have to buy more of it to get the same mileage.
By the way I tried this on several trips going back and forth to make sure it wasn't my driving.

Re: Gas prices today!!!

I didn't know you could find E85 anymore. I remember it used to be EVERYWHERE around here, I can't remember the last time I saw a sign for it.

Conversely, QT sells "pure gas" for a whopping 50 cents more per gallon over 87 "E10". Ran it in my brand new silverado, even gave it 4-5 tanks in a row... I saw zero increase in fuel mileage, so I use nothing but the cheap E10 crap. The only thing I will never use it in again is a boat. That crap screwed my boat up and is why I no longer have one. It's been fine in my 10 year old mower I bought new and I buy the preservative for my small motor stuff and they seem to be OK.

It seems to have leveled off here to around 1.45-1.50/gal for a couple weeks now.

$1.06 today for reg.
$2.13 for diesel.

We may have had E85 for some time and I just had never noticed it. I don't know. Our new Casey's has a small E85 sign hanging under the larger signs for reg unlead and diesel. It could be easily missed.

still getting ripped off here. I did see gas for 1.79. Diesel was 2.35-2.55 with one station still at $2.85! Those were prices from an hour north and south of the house.

Glad you guys don't have turbine wind solar green libtards like here. Fuel had been between $1.75-1.89 for the last month, fuel in NY has been cheaper than Delaware. $1.45 back on long island

I don't know why people get so excited about gas prices. Even at $4 a gallon it's still cheaper in today's Dollars than years ago when it was $1 a gallon.
