Right blinkers not working
I was just going to buy a new switch and install. Had to use truck today. When I got home I tried the hazard button and the right side would not work just like the right turn signal.
I installed a switch about 30 odd years ago but for the like of me I can't remember how the hazard button worked. Do I have wiring issue or is the switch causing both problems? I forgot to mention right dash light doesn't work either. Thanks |

Re: Right blinkers not working
I would check grounds. I believe those lights are grounded to the housing. Check ground fuses and bulbs first. Those are easy

Re: Right blinkers not working
Thanks for comebacks. I had previously check right brake light but failed to mention.
Had to drive truck today. While at stop light, noticed that the right dash signal light was on. On impulse turned on right blinkers and they worked. Found that dash light turned on with brake. Since the above happened with no changes nor moving of wires, I have to assume the switch is bad. Ordered new switch. |
