1968 C10 Lift?

I would like to lift my '68 C10 to above 1/2 ton stock height (it is currently lowered with drop springs). Something similar to more of a 4WD stance/height. Any recommendations on the easiest, best, and/or cheapest way to accomplish this? Thanks

I’m going to be doing this shortly myself. I’ll be using lift spindles in the front for 4”, and blocks out back for 2”, giving it a level stance that will clear 33” tires and maintain a factory ride and alignment.

Sounds like lift spindles are the way to go. I have been told before some guys would use 3/4 springs to try and add some height but also sacrifice their ride at the same time. Thanks for the info.

Yeah, spindles won't affect the ride. I don't think 3/4t or 1t coils yield more than an inch. I mean, look at a C/20. Does it sit like a 4wd? You can't get much lift in the suspension before killing geometry, ability to properly align. The tires have to play a roll in the taller look. I want to know about what spindles we can use.

Pulled these from a junkyard (I would not have bought these new otherwise, lol). The blue paint should give away who makes them.... They are still being manufactured for the time being, probably soon to be discontinued. The kit they make consists of these 4” lift spindles for the front, 2” blocks and extended u bolts for the rear, and new shocks. It runs around $1300, and the spindles alone are $700

I've searched, but can't find the original post, so my apologies to the original poster, but here is a list of parts I saved just for this:Install 1988 - 1998 Chevy 4 inch lift spindles.

Parts List:
88-98 Rough Country lift spindles
88-98 Raybestos PG ball joints
88-98 C2500 LD 6 lugs rotors and calipers
Moog 6454 HD springs.
Belltech 1 3/8" sway bar
73-87 C30 lower A-arm
73-87 C10 upper A-arm

There is a write up in FAQ listing all the parts for using 88-98 spindles for the purpose of a disc brake conversion. A lot of people used to do this to keep 6 lug pattern up front, and using easy off the shelf parts. You can use 5 lug rotors as well. When I saw this lift kit on a truck in the junkyard, I remembered you can use the spindles on our trucks, so I pulled everything off...spindles, springs, upper control arms. Fabtech makes NICE stuff
