This is my new 2wd 68 burb.I drove 8 hours to Iowa to tow this guy home.On the way back I almost blew my buddies F250 transmission up on the way home

His ford had to spend the night at the ford dealer,Anyway,I plan on taking the body off the frame and sending it out to be rotissered .I have new PB dropped member,control arms,rack,and rear c notch,dropped trailing arms on the way from Nathan,Just to get the ball rolling.You guys are a great source of info and inspiration.

i'd skip the c-notch and just restore and drive that clean beauty. pretty soon my stock height 72 burb is gonna go from rare to endangered species with everyone giddy to follow the californians. pretty soon "c-notch" is gonna be a cliche on this forum....

now thats funny.

I love the look of a custom truck.lowered or stock level.I prefer mine to to be low,not a mini trucker,just cool.I lived in SoCal and worked there for 15 years so its in my blood.C notch is for beginners,you need a step notch,when you are laying frame.LOL

Update.front end is off the burb.Will pull the engine and tranny later today and then off comes the body.

Hey guys I know its been awhile since I posted anything about my burb.I do have some progress to show.I have powder coated all of the frame parts,spindles,trailing arms,and other odd and ends parts.I also have my rear end out being built.I am going with a ford 9" with a true trac installed and 12" wilwood brakes.Thanks for looking

Thanks guys.Hey Wade how's it going?Man I had hell dragging that burb home.But it was well worth the trip.I got the front end installed today and the front bags are on the control arms.I will post more pics tomorrow.Now off to the rear end and then its time to plum this dude up.

Hey everyone.I have been alittle busy working on the burb.Here we go.First I got new 13" cpp cross drilled brakes and powder coated calipers(sorry about the wheels,they are just for mock up)

.Second I had a brand new ford 9" narrowed 2'' both sides,true trac installed and new axles.

Then I purchased a 6.0 engine and 4l80e out of a escalade.Installed a cts v oil pan and had the engine stripped and painted.

.Installed a new no limit 19 gallon tank with lsx pump and baffle

.Last she is a roller

.More to come soon.
