Oh damn I love seeing those photos of the chopped custom being used! Being driven, going camping! I love it!

Jack was "Dad" for me for many years. This is a picture of his car, crew, and driver after they won a championship at Riverside Speedway in Agawam MA in 1971. Jack is the second guy in from the left. It looks like he has a mustache but it's a trick of the light.



Here's a color picture of one version of the car. For anyone interested, the intake manifold is a "Ridgeway Ram." Ralph Ridgeway was producing them in the Springfield, MA area in small quantity for local racers. Local legend says an Edelbrock guy saw it, learned all he could, then brought it to Edelbrock who patented the design. The manifold in the picture is a handmade prototype and wasn't fully machined, given to Jack by Mr. Ridgeway personally.
