Want to Swap to a Bench in 88 Suburban

been looking at seat threads trying to find a bit of information on bench seats.
i see all kinds of pick-up seat info out there but not suburban seat info. i don't know if it's a bad idea to swap a folding truck seat into a suburban. my main concern is if it will hold up in a crash since it doesn't have the cab rear wall behind it. the suburban seats are rigid, right?
this may seem silly to some of you.
anyways, i want a bench and I'm swimming in a sea of truck benches but I'm having a hard time locating a good suburban bench. i am betting a 1 ton would have the same seat i want...
i know it sounds dumb but please humor me. new to my GMC.
thanks!
