Ten years now Where'd they go? Ten years I don't know

Married this wonderful gal 10 years ago today.

I made a thread on our first anniversary here:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=364632

She's still my favorite person.

No, just a color edit. Still blue, but looks A LOT different now. I've owned the C10 22 years now The 12 year old paint job is really starting to shows its age in from the SC sun.

It's actually been 15 years, smarty pants went on to grad school after college. She's fine AND makes more $ than me

Yea, it's been a minute. She's aged like a fine wine, I've gone more the route of milk...

Our first date was 15 years ago yesterday as students in Clemson. We wanted to get married on the same date, but that would have been a Friday wedding in 2008, which isn't a popular wedding date!

I don't remember the exact date, but I bought the C10 in November 1996 when I was 15.

She and he or she and the truck?

Aged like a fine wine. That's a good one, but still better watch your use of the word aged with regards to her. But you already knew that. At least you didn't say like a good pair of cowboy boots.

Congratulations. I just went out of town for my 25th silver last week.
It has gone so fast. I don't know how she puts up with me.

My grandparents were married for over seventy years when they died. They died within a couple months of each other. I hope the same for you and yours.

Congratulations. A good woman makes life so much easier.

A good woman and a good truck, and top earner to boot.

I always say, "It's a sorry man that can't find his woman a good job".

I didn't know you young guys listened to Seger.

Re: Ten years now Where'd they go? Ten years I don't know

For me it was 25 years, where'd she go?

We had a good thing but it's a long story. Looked the whole thing over hard and long and can see I was dealing with her issues, not her. She only got worse and I'd say now she would be seen as a wack job to most anyone, given due time. She would embarrass me in restaurants, etc. But I gave her the benefit of doubt and kept trying, till she met another wack job (mother of son's friend, bi-polar). They both left their husbands with their children to pursue their happiness . Her new husband just left her recently and she wants to cry to me about it. Unfortunately, I still have to deal with her from time to time.

I am happy for all who have found a good woman who is able to 'give of herself' to the relationship the way I gave to mine.

I went to every football home game from 99-04, and we were terrible. It's so nice to not suck anymore. Always enjoy it while you can, all teams will one day suck again.

Congrats on 25 years! I don't know if 75 is even a possibility, I was 27 when we got married.

Yea, sometimes it rolls along a little too fast. We've been stupid busy at work and I basically worked the entire month of September away

She definitely makes it easier for me. Love Seger, plus, this is a chevy site, everyone knows like a rock from the commercials! Turn the page is still my favorite, the sax on that song is awesome.

It's not always easy. We're both dedicated which makes it work a lot better. Sometimes fire and ice work well together, which I've never understood, but it works for some people.
