Re: bbc retrofit roller update

My front cover did not make contact with the button. My button measures nearly an inch so it's the biggest one available and it sits nearly flush with the sprocket edge so no loss there.

After much tossing around I finally decided not to spend more cash and just modify my cover to make it work. Beat the crap out of it with big hammer until it made contact with the button then slowly beat it back out until I managed to get the clearance to .006 on the dial with the cover and gasket torqued down.

I may yet do a new cover down the road if this one ends up making noise or causing timing fluctuations. My guess right now is that it will be fine. Moving on.
