Hard to say, Napco used the Eaton rears, this truck has a Dana front, possibly a 70. Maybe a different conversion company?. I'm thinking that front may be from an international? or Dodge? A lot can happen in fifty years. I do like it though

IH and Dodge did offer 1t 4wd but both used a wider 5-lug lug pattern. There were companies other than NAPCO, as Panelman mentioned. Closed knuckle suggests it's an original conversion or earlier axle swapped in. But the closed knuckle 8 lug pattern tells me this is the work of Howe, most likely. I have nothing to reference on this computer. I'm going to hail a well known member who has a particular interest in the Howe conversions and could be referred to as an infomaniac

Found a few early 70's IH and Dodge 8 lug one tonners. I know of those five lug rears you mentioned Tim, some earlier IH had six lugs 4x4 front axles too, as you know I'm sure, haha. I think those big boys got the larger 17,18,19&20" rims. Didn't Howe use those funky drive discs on the wheels?, Or was that Coleman?

Oh that's right. The wide 5 and 6 lug patterns went into the early-mid '60s. An ATHS friend has a '71 Dodge with 8-lug hubs
