I remember seeing that burb on Craigslist several years ago. Parchment buckets correct? Iwas trying to get a trailer to go get it but couldn't make it happen at the time

The day I dragged it home 3 years ago. 72 GMC Short Step 402/TH400/12 Bolt. Bought it off my buddy whose dad bought it new...for $960.

Re: ‘Herding Turds’ - Post em up when you dragged them in

Building this "frank-en-truck" for my grandson. A really good bunch of parts with the old gal.. Sort of in a lull waiting on a sheet metal shipment. You can follow along in my build thread in my signature. The old 72 cab was a well optioned c20 custom deluxe. A big block truck with about every option except air.

This one has been a fun project. In it's previous life, it was a work truck for a tree service.

Fergus as he sat since 1996.

And once I got him home, my daughter wanted first off to pressure wash him. 4 inches of mouse nest/crap in the cab. gonna be a trip!

It's amazing how much better a truck can look by just washing it. Nice job!

Re: ‘Herding Turds’ - Post em up when you dragged them in

So this was an interesting experience. No joke I was standing about 30 inches from this blue tarp, and “whoosh” it swung open from the inside and a small lady about 75 pounds popped out and said “I thought I heard voices.” Whew! Almost had a heart attack. Apparently there were at least 3 people that live in the trailers on this property.

It is that spooky time year. Who needs haunted houses when you could hunt trucks in creepy junkyards and back in the sticks with the tarp people Looks like that one had to get dragged out
