Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

No price 1970 GMC project or parts. The seat head rests are what caught my eye. I seem to remember these from back in the day, but haven't seen any for a long time.

The BLUE steering wheel is not totally shot. I could use one like this because it appears way better than what I already have. Wish they would post some prices.

VERY nice truck, BUT everything about the doors says it is a 1972, not 1971. Perhaps something made during crossover between years? Perhaps an extremely late 1971?, so late that they started to use 1972 parts? Looks like an honest truck.

Some states used to title vehicles the year they were sold. I used to have a 1975 CB 250 Honda that was titled as a 1979. It sat in the show room for four years before it sold. I suppose we will never know. But I do like the truck.

You're welcome. Although I will admit the reason I started posting more complete posts is so we have a nice record of what prices are being asked for trucks, instead of just a hundred dead links. And who knows maybe a future member might find the truck they just bought listed.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

A couple interesting Ks - all appear to be original paint :

69 K10 lwb - looks pretty original - one of my favorite paint colors. All I can say is picture it with white steelies, and maybe lose the lift. Hmmm - $12.5K https://sanantonio.craigslist.org/ct...250308389.html

70 K10 - real swb truck, original paint - no price listed, but I'm sure there is one... Seems interested in trades. Anyway - looks like a pretty original basic K10. https://greenville.craigslist.org/ct...250502666.html

69 K20 Custom Camper. I find this one interesting. K20 Custom Campers aren't exactly plentiful in the 68-70 time frame. But seller also states it has 8.5' bed. If so, it's a C Longhorn conversion as there were no K Longhorns from the factory. But Longhorn K conversions are just plain cool. Having said that - I think the bed looks like it's just 8' - but kinda hard to tell. So, either it's a C20 Custom Camper Longhorn K conversion - or just an original K20 Custom Camper. Either way, they are both cool. It's rough, price reflects it, but interesting truck. The tires are perfect.. And it still has its locking ring rims. $1.8K https://marshall.craigslist.org/cto/...249165469.html

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

I inquired about the 69 K20. The sell sent me more pictures. 8' bed and truck looks to be a farm truck that was beat to death.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Ha, yes, I just got some too - it is very rough (despite the pic below). Does look like it's an original K20 Custom Camper though (yes, 8' bed) Oh well. For $1800...
But it does have a motor - actually looks to be a 283 or 327.
