If it has the HD clutch listed on the glove box door it is the 11". You can also look at it through the inspection cover at the bottom. If the pressure plate bolts are right out to the edge of the flywheel it is the 11". If it is 1/2" further in you have the 10".

A short tail shaft turbo 350 will drop right in. If it is 6" long it will work. Any of the longer tails will mean shortening the drive shaft.

On throw-out bearings chevy only made two short and long,I went through this with my blazer a few years back, whatever you take out replace with same thing, when i went to replace mine the book called for the short so i said ok put it in and tried to adjust and it wasn't right.took it back out and they kept saying it called for the short.Wel come to find out the book as wrong I needed the long for the 3spd.I remember my dad went through the same thing when i was a kid,so just because the book says so doesn't mean it's always right.

I would call this place to check on your clutch, to my door for 52.00 dollars
on e-Bay. New not reman.

You would have to change crossover member to auto one among others things to convert. Check FAQ section, there might be something on the swap.
