12 Volt Outlet doesn't work...
Our 1994 Chevrolet K1500 Silverado Z71's 12-volt outlet doesn't work.
Any ideas on how to fix it? Does the 12-volt outlet have an associated fuse in the fusebox? I really want to get it fixed because it's pretty annoying to need to use another vehicle to plug my portable air compressor into to air up our truck's tires. Any thoughts or ideas y'all share will be greatly appreciated! |

I believe the outlet/cigarette light fuse is #13 of the inside fuse box near driver's side kick panel.

My 93 suburban's failed and I have read that it is common issue with the wire breaking. I was just going to pull a new wire to it but changed my mind. I installed two plugs in the console. I use them for USB power and they are out of sight.
