Took apart the nasty vent windows.

Painted and cleared the vent windows, frames, and drip rails.

Yeah that colder weather slows everything down.

Can't wait to see it done. I might have missed it but I take it that you ended up going with the pearl over the white?

It's a Chevy white, my buddy has a paint shop and he is still trying to talk me into a pearl color. I just could not find one that wasn't dim looking.

Mine was rusted through on the drivers side. I found one at the local scrap yard. I found about 6or7 passenger sides, but only one drivers, and it was buried under a bunch of glass. They are easy to take apart, putting them back to gather may be a different story. My seals should be in today, I will try to take some pictures of the rebuild.

Re: 87 SWB ..Pearl..

Ordered the correct two piece vent seals from Precision. I had read some complaints about them being two times as thick as OE, they look the same to me. Will see how they go on.

Cool I really like the white. Our Trailblazer is a Summit White and I really like that shade.

Not sure where you come up with that color but I think I may have suggested that before to you. Regardless it is a pretty cool bright white. It will look awesome when you get done. Are you putting all the side trim and mirrors back on?

Re: 87 SWB ..Pearl..

I cracked my windshield putting it back in, guy I know came over, put in a new windshield and a new mirror..$125 mistake..it took him all of 15 minutes, I like to do things myself if possible, but it's worth it in this case to have a pro install.
[IMG][/IMG]

The vent windows went back together with new seals. They were a little difficult. I used small plastic pry bars to get the seal into the grooves. I still need to rivet them back together. I am happy with the results.

A polisher that looks like a bench grinder, and some jewelers rouge.

I subscribed. It looks like a really cool build. And as i saw you kept mentioning weather was slowing you down. I know how that goes. I have to do all my work outside for the most part. My project has been sitting all winter. lol. Cant wait to see this project done.

That's the plan. I just had a couple setbacks with the Speedometer not working and re routing some wires in the doors. Hoping to do the wires this evening.
