Bulb question?

I got the led talights from lmc im wondering what other led turn signal marker led bulbs i need to make them work with the new led fuse what numbers sylvania?

Replacing normal incandescent lamps lower the current or amperage requirement in that circuit. You may have to change your flasher to an electronic type since it works on time, rather than heating up from current flow.

A fuse protects the wire in the circuit, not the component. I am unclear about the fuse part as an LED doesn't require a special fuse.

Yes, LED's last longer, use less current, less prone to vibration failure, but are sensitive to polarity and bad splices that are not soldered. If you have a loss of voltage due to a switch issue or connection issue, since they only use a small amount of current, they will go out. Use dielectric grease, clean the connector's terminals with electrical spray cleaner and on these older trucks, if your are using the "Glass Fuses" type box, you may have to spent time with some fine sand paper on a screwdriver or slotted wooden dowel with a slot cut on the end to slide the sandpaper into it.

The double filament bulb like 1157 is common. Other single filament large bulbs used are 1156 or the smaller peanut bulb 194.

The problem is many of these are somewhat directional. The component on board (COB), the led's are arranged to point one direction or several. The lens maybe altered to increase the angle the light can cover. So look at them closely for arrangement inside or specs, showing angle. It depends on what you're after.
