Anyone know the rim/tire size, backspacing, and how much this Tahoe was lowered?

I know they're 22's based on the original post below, but no idea on width. Looks like he's a High Octane paying member, so I'd try to PM for additional details. It looks bagged to me, at least up front.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons

They look like 8-8.5" wide in front and probably 10" wide in the rear. I'd guess between 5.5-6.5" of backspacing in the front and between 6-7.5" in the rear.

It doesn't look bagged to me. I'd guess probably around a 5/7 drop.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons

So I sold my 2DR 2WD Tahoe a few years ago and regretted it. Every once in a while I'd poke around on Craigslist hoping to find another nice one. Unfortunately, good ones are very few and far between, at least here in So Cal.

But a couple of weeks ago I stumbled upon one... I had to look past the odd aftermarket grille and lights and the cheap chinese 22" wheels and tires, but once I did, it had service records dating back to 2000, the body was nice and clean and other than the bolt-on "bling" it was pretty much unmolested. I'm a fan of the barn doors so that was another plus in my book. So it came home with me

Plans are for taking it back to mostly stock, a static drop and an interior refresh. Interior freshening will include Escalade door panels, console, cluster, gauge surround and steering wheel.

Build thread is here --

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=699275

Pics of how I got it and after I took off the awful 22s and put some 454ss wheels on...

Congrats, & welcome back! Look forward to seeing what you do with it. The wheel change was definitely a big plus.

Not sure what to go with at this time. Want to get rid of the roof rack but not sure what to do with the buttons underneath.

These are pretty rare. I looked for a while before I found one that was 2wd.

I will add more pics after its dropped.
How do I post pics

Unless you want to post multiple pics at once. Then many people use photobucket or another imagine hosting site.

I agree. I have Photobucket & Flikr, but I like Flikr best. Another option is to upload via the pic gallery here & then link them.
