OT Economy in Pinehurst, NC?

Had a friend tell my today that she was considering a job in Pinehurst, NC. Her husband would have to find work...he is a college grad that has been in the metals business, internal sales, order processing and the like. I know OR and WA are the two highest unemployment states in the US so it has to be better than them.

Alot of people in Pinehurt do work in the Raleigh Duram area. I know there are job oppertunities , but it all depends on what field they are in. Its been pretty rough around here in the job market also.

I just checked the US unemployment stats and WA, OR and Alaska are 49, 50 and 51! NC is 44! not much better I would say. I will wish them luck...hey...he likes to golf so maybe he can find a job at a golf course.
