Powder Coating Question

If I have something powder coated, can I first fill imperfections with spot putty or some other filler? What works best? Thanks!

It has to be able to withstand 400 F. I don't think regular putty will work, but you can ask your powder coater and see what he says.

Eastwood sells a filler that is used for powdercoating.I would imagine that other powder supply places would have it to.

Go to Columbia Coatings website and click on metal fillers. I have never used it, so I won't be able to give you really any help.

Lab metal is the name of it and it is cheaper at Columbia coatings than at Eastwood . Hope this helps....
