83 Suburban Slamming

I am looking at an 83 Sub, and want to lower it. Who here has done it, and how low did you go. I have a bagged 97 S10 with bags, V8, 18s and want to get pretty close to the same drop, but just a static drop. Thanks in advance. I havent seen much out there.

I know a guy here in town that has a bagged 84 suburban - it goes low but its not static. I believe he notched his frame for the front crossmember and built new upper a-arms + spindles.
