Re: 60-66 or?
It looks like a mid 60's, but maybe it's not...

Re: 60-66 or?
I think it's newer judging by the curve of the doors upward. It's probably made to look like a 65-66.

Re: 60-66 or?
judging by the doors I'd have to say it started life as a 88-98 Silverado.
Looks like they also used a 88-98 fleet and stepside bed.

Somebody has mixed up some late model and old model parts. I see multiple years there.

Re: 60-66 or?
I agree. fullsize chevy cab with gafted 64-66 front sheetmetal judging from the grill. The bed used 55-66 fenders on a step but possible narrowed full with a 55-87 top rail. Cool mod but it kinda looks like an import of some sort.

It looks like a VW Truck to me. If not, it's gotta be a 1987 S10/S15

Re: 60-66 or?
You guys are right. The front windshield is not upright enough to be a 64-66, the rear window is wrong, and the doors and door windows aren't correct for those years either.

Re: 60-66 or?
As much as I admire the workmanship and the amount of effort it took to do this, I think it falls in the category of "just because you can doesn't mean you should..."

The more I look at that truck the more I notice all the amazing work done on it. Look at the hood alone.... HOLY CRAP!

Re: 60-66 or?
Interesting. My first guess was 64-66. Then I saw a silverado bed, then a funny shaped cab. Looks too custom to really be called one truck.

Re: 60-66 or?
They did some excellent work IMO. That is a real nice blending of the 60-66 and the 88-98 years. Considering all us arm chair truck experts couldn't figure it out, I would say they did a fine job of making it look stock.

Re: 60-66 or?
How are we supposed to know what year it is when apparently the truck itself isn't really sure!!!!lol
looks like 88-98 silverado with some 60's parts grafted on. Nice job, interesting truck!

Re: 60-66 or?
I think if its a S-10 cab they had to make it wider? The hood & bumper look correct to me.
