Questions about original 'standard' 1972 c10 transmission.

wondering about the details of the 1972 c10 3 on the tree transmission, i know there were 2 versions, a saginaw and a muncie only for the big blocks. but after that the internet goes to moot. any help appreciated, thanks

Saginaw had a syncro 1st gear, Muncie did not.

great thanks all. had a really hard time trying to find information, perhaps my search queries were throwing me off. strange that there isnt much information about the 3 on the tree for these years.
