69 build (blue)

This will be 1 of many posts from my shop. Look in other 'year' threads, as i have 1 from most decades starting from '53 , to my own '74 square....

Anyway, i built this 69 last year with all the BPE garb on it (383 full build crate) and i just recently tore all the Holley crap off and installed the Edelbrock ProFlo4 setup.

Im pretty happy with under hood looks.

This truck came to me with just the motor installed. Nothing else was done.

Wiring. Brakes. Plumbing. Was all done by me.

Im gonna have a S-ton of pictures... not in correct build order. These are the recent ones.

Did a Wilwood rear upgrade, too. You can see the difference between the D52 CPP junk. I used Customfab brackets...

Very nice! Could you share your thoughts on the ProFlo4 initial start up process and drivability, since installation. I have the same system on my '70 C10, but am a long time out from the first start.

From what the owner told me, it's '56 on a modified "stock" frame.

Absolutely disgusting paint job. Looks good at a distance, but wow. Ill be making a thread on it, in the proper forum.

Thumbs up Re: 69 build (blue)

beautiful truck you did an awesome job, it amazes me that people still buy CPP garbage. you did the owner a huge favor by scrapping that brake crap. we had a customer with a beautiful 66 chevelle big block convertible with a CPP power steering box that would lock up intermittently when he tried to turn, when i ordered a box from red head steering i asked if they would accept the CPP box as a core and was told f^&k no, throw the chinese made piece of $hit in the trash.

Thank you.

CPP = Chinese Parts Peddlers.

Unfortunately, the front end is all that junk. I didnt want to completely rain on his parade, at least i got the brakes upgraded.
