With Jack stands just before the rear frame kick, the front end of the truck still comes up at least 6", so it's light front/heavy rear, but it will not pull a wheelie, as there is just not enough tire.

The tires are not from Coker, but from Diamondback Classics. Expensive, but worth it.

That thing is sick! I'd just watch out those TH425's have a tendancy to snap the drive chain. I had a 73 Toronado when I put a stock rebuilt 455 in it. It snapped the chain on 2 transaxles. Other than that it was a good running car for the 10 years we owned it. good lookin build tho. It will be a kick in the seat to drive!

Dang, it's been a long time since my last update... Oh well, doesn't mean I haven't been busy. I had to re-construct the entire rear suspension due to rotten rubber bushings in all 20 rod ends, and worn-out coilovers. The truck now sits LOW, and rides and handles much better than before. I don't have a lot of current pics, but will have soon.

And a picture of it out on the street. I still work on it every night, but I can also drive it now in between.

The truck came with them on it, I think they're just car steelies, maybe truck? They're 15x6 if I recall, and I painted em black.

Under the hood is tough, as I still have a rad, brakes, steering, innerfenders, etc. I'm probably going to put an old toolbox and an old cooler or something. I have tons of other places that I have planned to keep everything else, sort of like a trunk.

The door logo was sprayed on with a stencil in about 2 minutes

It's for our lumber yard, did it for the parade for the town's centennial celebration. I'm likely taking it off this week, as I have a really wild temporary scallop job planned for a show this weekend, but we'll see.

There used to be a Chevy Luv running around here with a Z24 cavalier front stub stuffed in the rear that was pretty cool. From the outside anyway. They hacked it together when you really took a good look at it.

This one is coming out nicely. It looks like there has been some quality work put into it. Great job!!!!!!

Bumper I'm still unsure of. The rear of the truck is getting skinned with a giant louvered panel, a frenched in license box and the exhaust tips notched into the bottom of the rollpan (C3 vette style). Since the frame is full custom, There is no way to easily mount a stock bumper (plus it sits stupid low, so the bumper clearance would be a concern). I've been thinking that maybe I could run a stock bumper, or a bumper off another vehicle, and just fab some mounts to this frame. I also thought front roll pan, but I'm not sold on that look just yet. Any creative opinions would be great!

I'm not a fan of the front pan (usually). Since you will be fabbing bumper mounts you could tuck it in and up a tad. I don't think it'll be too low from that last side shot you posted. It would really finish it off nicely.

I tucked my bumper in on the 61 because the sock position puts it way out there. But then I also moved mine down. You could do the same and move it up slightly if you felt the need.

I see you've done a fair bit of work in the front bumper department. The stock bumper looks so much better than a roll pan, so I think I'm going to go that route, plus it's safer too. Mounting the brackets on a 2x5 tubular frame can't be that hard. Heck, no harder than making everything else work on this monster, right?

Well, I put around 500 miles on it this weekend, with little to no trouble. Here's some current pictures. It's far from done, but I'm having fun with it on the weekends!
