LQ9 intake question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

It's a 2003 LQ9 anyone know what the port is that is just behind the throttle body on the intake is in this picture.

I don't know it's function but mine has a plastic tube that goes from there down the drivers side of the intake to the back of the engine....without climbing in under the hood i cant see where it goes from there...it has what appears to be a capped port of some sort mid way down the tube

If you are talking about the port on the top, that is for the evap purge solenoid. You can purchase a block off plate for it many places. Here is one.
