What's this relay for?

Hey y'all, trying to fix bad wiring PO had done with gauges and starter and everything, and came across this relay that is wired into the push to start button. Have no idea what it does, truck has driveline out of a 2000 Tahoe, so is it to bypass security or what? Thanks.

Re: What's this relay for?

That looks like it might be a digital circuit breaker. normally opens at 40 amps and closes at 30 amps. Just a guess.

Thumbs up Re: What's this relay for?

For what it's worth I did google it and it's pretty much what Vett said. For what it's use is in your truck It's hard to say. Trace the wires and see where they take you will be the only thing to know for sure. Are talk to the PO and see if they remember what they did.
Good luck.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
