Navigation
Hey all, new member here. Just bought a new to us '06 GMC Yukon XL and this is the first rig I have had with navigation. Confused as to how it works, there is a disk in the center console when I put it in the navigation comes up, but is pretty generic. Do I have to subscribe to the onstar thing for this to work?

Re: Navigation
Welcome to the board. I don't have anything that new but I'm sure someone will have a reply.

Re: Navigation
Found the CD Players section of this page to be pretty informative. The screen you get when you insert the disc is the entirety of the navigation program. An aftermarket nav unit can be had for as cheap as $300, and it will have a much more user friendly interface, not require a CD, and most likely play DVD's as well, if that interests you.
