12 bolt backing plate

Can you guys help me? I have been searching for a few days now trying to get a parts vendor for a new passenger side rear backing plate for a 12 bolt gm truck rear axle. I can't seem to be able to purchase one anywhere. Any help?

Re: 12 bolt backing plate

should be the same as 10 bolt other than shoe size and width . also parking brake cable style .

i know guys swap them a lot from 1 axle to other .

my 2wd i did . the 12 bolt rear has the wide brake backing plate's on it for 1/2 ton .

whats wrong with yours ?

If they just rusted wore out on the wear points. (slide area) sand blast them weld them back up. Old Truck fix backers. I bleave that no one makes them yet.
