Re: WTB NOS locking hub

I have the same hubs on my 66 K20 with a closed knuckle Dana, 8 lug and drum brakes. They work well and look good so I don't want to sell but I am curious to know a little more about them in case I ever need to do a repair. Can you share? There don't appear to be any brand marking aside from the words HUB LOK.

Interesting that this Retaining Plate has embossed lettering where as all others I see have debossed lettering.

Yeah it's odd. Not sure what year they changed that, maybe someone here knows.

Hi Joe I thought I answered this ages ago but I don't see my response here. They're made by Dana Spicer. Yours are the larger 8 lug version.

I have a NOS set of each - debossed and embossed. 60chevypanel is already in line to get the spare set but I sure wish I knew which one was used in 1960-61. Wondering if the embossed are 60-66 and debossed maybe NAPCO 55-59 or later 67-72?
