TH400 redline type f?
Problem or not to run synthetic redline type F fluid in a TH400. I've seen mixed responses online, I have 6 quarts already is why the option to go with it or not is on the table. Empty trans, minus residual from draining and new torque converter will be installed. Thanks in advance!

Re: TH400 redline type f?
Fwiw, I have ran type f, in all my th350 and th400 transmissions, for the last 30 years. I have never had any problems. You will feel a firmer shift with type f.
