1971 c20 to k20 utility truck build

Been off the site for quite a while. I have alot of free time now since my shop burned down last July in AZ. Originally bought this 1971 c20 really cheap to resell it. Decided to build the truck to showcase a new product we'll be selling. It will be converted to a 4wd using the original 2wd frame, shortbed, utility truck with a 6.0 LS and 4L80 transmission.

This is pretty much how I got the truck. No engine/ transmission, just a roller from the Navajo reservation.

Just sold the bed, but it had the factory toolbox in the bedside.

Got the cab off, shaved a bunch of firewall holes. Used the plans for the LFD cab and bed lift plans to get the cab off the frame. Alot easier than trying to get help to lift it.

Looks like your off to a great start! What part of Arizona are you in? I’m on the other side of the Rez outside Farmington. My wife is actually Navajo.

I'm in central Phoenix. I bought it from the Rez a few hours north of Flagstaff.

Got the frame cut and shortened. It needed to be a shortbed, but I wanted it to still be a 3/4 ton truck.
