New Blazer guy with questions.......

I have been on this site for years on the Suburban section. I have a 72 Suburban I have had for 25 years and I love it. But Just got a 72 K5 Blazer and have a few questions. It is a good condition Cheyenne K5 with 350 motor, power steering and power brakes and a tilt wheel. It also has factory air.
The previous owner said he put a HD dana 44 in the front, but I don't know what is in the rear yet (I am thinking 12 bolt). He said it is 3/4 suspension and it is 8 lug. I know 8 lug makes it harder to find wheels but can I find stock looking steelie wheels that will take a chevy hubcap to fit the 8 lug? All the blazers I look at have 6 lug.

Can I find stock looking wheels in 8 lug that will take a chevy hubcap?

It may be a 14 bolt ff, does it have 14 bolts around the diff cover? Yes, you can get 8 lug steel wheels with hub caps.

You haven't seen my Blazer then! 8-lug 14 bolt full floater in the rear and Dana 60 up front. I just bought a set of 8 lug 16 x 8 steelies from Wheels Vintique to replace my old 16.5 x 10 steelies. The new rims take the stock 12-inch dog dish hubcap just like the old set.

Thanks. BTW, the Wheels Vintiques steelies only come in chrome and black satin powdercoat. No white powdercoat. Obviously I have the black satin.

They look great on your blazer, I think I might just paint mine white when I get them.

Kind of an odd swap into your Blazer. But that shouldn't matter when it comes to the lug bolt pattern. Should be same as 14 bolt rear, 3/4 ton Dana 44 front, or Dana 60 rear.

I have a complete set of original 8-lug 16.5 x 7 (could be 6) steelies that I used to run a while back. I'll give them to you no cost if you swing by and pick them up. Let me know.

Thanks! It's mine too. Getting front and rear ARB air lockers installed soon to make it an event more capable over-landing rig.
